What to Expect: Mobility Flow

Lisa Clayman | SEP 23, 2026

If you hear “mobility” and immediately picture someone sitting in a deep stretch for an hour, that’s not quite what we’re doing.

Mobility is about more than flexibility. It’s about how well you can actively control your body through its available range of motion.

Mobility Flow combines yoga, strength, controlled movement, and mobility work to help you explore that range with intention.

You can expect movements that challenge your balance, control, strength, coordination, and joint mobility. We might spend time opening up the hips, moving through the spine, exploring shoulder mobility, or working on the relationship between strength and range of motion.

And yes, there will probably be some stretching.

But we’re not forcing ourselves into shapes just because we can.

The goal isn’t to see how far you can go. It’s to develop more awareness and control within the range you have, while gradually creating more capacity over time.

What class feels like

Mobility Flow is active.

You’ll move, transition, stabilize, explore different ranges, and probably discover a few places in your body that don’t move quite the way you thought they did.

Some movements may feel challenging. Some may feel surprisingly good. And sometimes the smallest, most controlled movement is the one that teaches you the most.

You don’t need to be flexible.

You don’t need a yoga background.

You don’t need to be able to do a split, touch your toes, or put your leg behind your head.

You just need a body you’re willing to pay attention to.

Who is Mobility Flow for?

It’s for anyone who wants to move better.

Maybe you feel stiff from sitting at a desk all day. Maybe you’re active but notice certain movements don’t feel great anymore. Maybe you’ve done yoga for years but want to work more intentionally with strength and mobility. Or maybe you’re simply curious about understanding your body a little better.

Mobility isn’t about chasing a perfect range of motion.

It’s about having options.

The ability to squat, reach, rotate, bend, extend, stabilize, and move through your life with more confidence and control.

That’s what we’re working toward.
